New PMAY-G Portal 2026: pmayg.nic.in Is Now Closed
Type pmayg.nic.in into your browser and it loads. No error, no redirect, no warning. That is exactly why so many families are working from the wrong page.
The live Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana–Gramin portal now runs at pmayg.dord.gov.in, on the Department of Rural Development’s domain. The older pmayg.nic.in address has not been switched off. It still answers, and it still serves pages that look correct.
They are not identical.

The version gap nobody mentions
Compare the Awaas+ survey app page on both addresses today.
The pmayg.nic.in copy offers Awaas+ 2024 app version 2.1.13. The pmayg.dord.gov.in copy offers version 2.1.36, along with a Hindi SOP and a second APK download served straight from the portal.
That is a gap of more than twenty releases. If you install the older build, Aadhaar face authentication through AadhaarFaceRD can fail, and a self-survey that will not authenticate never reaches the block for verification. The applicant assumes they were rejected. They were never recorded.
Addresses that are current
- Main portal: pmayg.dord.gov.in
- Beneficiary search (AwaasSoft): awaassoft.pmayg.dord.gov.in →
netiay/Benificiary.aspx— the government’s own spelling of “Benificiary” is correct, not a typo on your end - Village and panchayat reports: report.pmayg.dord.gov.in
- Login for panchayat and block staff: pmayg.dord.gov.in →
netiay/loginmaster.aspx - Power BI progress dashboard: hosted on the same dord.gov.in domain
Older guides still route readers through rhreporting.nic.in for reports. Some navigation paths do land there. Reach it through the portal’s Awaassoft → Report menu rather than typing it directly, so you always land on the version the ministry is currently publishing.
What this means for you
Delete any saved bookmark pointing to pmayg.nic.in or awaassoft.nic.in and save pmayg.dord.gov.in instead. If you installed the Awaas+ app in the last several months from a link on the old page, check the version number inside the app before you rely on it.
Your registration number, sanction order and payment history did not change. It is the same AwaasSoft database underneath, built by NIC and used by the Ministry of Rural Development since Indira Awaas Yojana was restructured into PMAY-G in 2016. Only the address in front of it moved. Anyone who tells you your record was lost in the migration is wrong — checking your name in the PMAY-G list works exactly as before on the new domain.
FAQ
- Is pmayg.nic.in closed? No. It loads. It is a stale copy, not a dead domain.
- Which address is official? Both belong to the government.
pmayg.dord.gov.inis the one being updated. - Will an old link show wrong payment data? Beneficiary records come from the same database. The risk is outdated downloads and forms, not wrong installment figures — for stalled payments, the cause is usually FTO status, not the portal.
- Do I need to re-register? No.
